The Center for DEI (formerly the Center for Gender Equality) has regularly conducted surveys targeting faculty and staff to understand their research, work, and living environments, as well as their needs. The results have been used to guide university policies and institutional strategies.
In light of our university being designated as Japan’s first International Leading Research University, we are launching the following large-scale survey to establish research and work environments aligned with international DEI standards. This large-scale survey will be conducted every five years moving forward.
We understand that everyone is busy, but achieving DEI requires each member of the university to take an active role. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this important initiative.

Administrative staff, Technical staff, Medical staff, Non-research faculty (including specially appointedpositions(Management)), URA, etc.
Survey Period
Monday, December 16, 2024 – Friday, January 17, 2025, for both １ and ２.
